Established in 1954, Ipswich Musketeers is one of Queensland’s oldest baseball clubs with a proud history of representative players. We are a family-oriented club that promotes the opportunities for all to enjoy the sport of baseball.
Originally based at Spring street, East Ipswich, in 1989 we made the move to the Tivoli Sporting Complex. This move created one of the best baseball facilities in South East QLD. Boasting two full sized diamonds, batting cage facilities and ample room for spectators and parking. We field teams for the summer GBL (Greater Brisbane League) competition, running typically from October through to March. From Tee Ball through to Seniors, Women’s & Masters, we have a team that is waiting for you!

Representative Discount – If you competed in a National Championship in the previous season, your club fee will be waived.

Coach fees – If you’re coaching with us, your club fee (or your child’s) will be waived for the season. Non-player/Non-parent coaches please contact us!
Spots remain in the T-Ball age group, all other teams and age groups are full!

What are the key things to be aware of?
Competitions
T-Ball and Rookie Ball play in the local SouthWest competition.
All other age groups play in the Greater Brisbane League (GBL).
Seasons
The season runs from October-March with a break in December/January.
T-Ball (U8)
We aim for an in-house competition on Friday nights, but if that’s not possible we play Saturday mornings with Ipswich Softball Association!
Intermediate League (U13)
Game: 2hrs or 7 innings
Big League (U20)
Game: 2hrs or 9 innings
Little League Minors (U10, U12)
Previously Rookie Ball.
Play between Ipswich, Western Districts, Southern Stars, Eagles, Indians and Redlands.
Junior League (U14)
Game: 2hrs or 7 innings
Adult Seniors (15+)
Division 1, 2: 2.5hrs or 9 innings
Divisions 3 and below: 2hrs or 9 innings
Masters (35+)
Single Game: 2hrs or 9 innings
Double header: 1.5hrs or 7 innings
Little League Majors (U12)
Game: 2hrs or 6 innings
Player Pitch: 1hr 45m or 6 innings
40/46: 1h 30m or 6 innings
Senior League (U16)
Game: 2hrs or 7 innings
Women’s
Division 1: 2hrs or 9 innings (15+)
Division 2: 2hrs or 7 innings (14+)
